NEWS NEWS NEWS
POLY-TUNNEL APPEAL We lost 2 greenhouses in the winter storms and so desperately need to replace that indoor growing space. If we can raise £1,000 we can buy a new poly-tunnel, which will be an enormous asset. If you would like to donate, please contact us for our bank details.
Thanks to a £500 community fund grant from Cornwall Council, awarded by our councillor, Steph McWilliam and generous donations by local people, our fund now stands at £650…thanks everyone. Please keep donating; we’re very close to being able to order our new tunnel.
NEW GROWING PARTNERSHIP We are delighted to announce that we are developing an exciting partnership with Tregillis Farm, nr Launceston. This is a 150-acre certified organic farm run by Laura and Jim Wallwork to bio-dynamic principles. They have agreed to supply us with as much fruit and veg as they can, to supplement what we grow here to use for the veg box scheme. We are so excited to be able to grow our customer numbers and supply people with gorgeous fresh veg, whilst keeping our spend in Cornwall and supporting another local organic grower. Laura has already planted up a 40 foot bed of salad leaves and I can’t wait to see them growing.
