We are very proud of our achievements in 2013. We have employed a picker/packer/ driver one day a week, as our box scheme, as our box scheme expands. We have been donated two greenhouses, vastly increasing our indoor growing space and also some lovely tools.
We continue to support 8 local people as volunteers: one of these has just been selected as Environmental Volunteer of the Year by Volunteer Cornwall. Please join us if you would like to have fun and grow good food. On that note, we are part of a group promoting Incredible Edible Pensilva, which is starting work outside Millenium House in January.
We have fenced off our land to stop Dalmatian predation and were picking tomatoes until the first week of December (possibly these last two items are linked). And I completed a year’s study with Cornwall School of Social Entrepreneurs, so am now officially entrepreneurial.
